ReplyDeleteThe Halberg Awards were named after Murray Halberg who won the gold medal in the 1960 Olympics and also won gold medals in the 3 miles events in 1958 and 1962.
The All whites won the supreme Halberg award in 2010 they won it for winning the soccor FIFA world cup.
